Corporate to Paddy Fields
From Boardrooms to Paddy Fields: A Journey of Purpose
My life — both personal and professional — has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. When you face the harsh realities of life at a young age, you either break or rebel. I chose the latter. With no guide, mentor, or compass, I stumbled into the world of sales — not by choice, but by necessity.
And yet, what began as a compulsion became my calling. I climbed the ladder steadily, with grit and sweat, reaching the position of Vice President. I lived the so-called "dream life" — flying across four regions of India every month for over two decades, staying in every luxury hotel you can name — Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt… the works. But life, in its own unpredictable way, gave me a jolt that no luxury could soften.
I lost my son in a tragic accident. That single moment redefined everything I believed in. It stripped me down to the core. But even in that deep pain, I chose to hold on to my humility, my dignity, and the belief that life still has a purpose.
Today, I find myself in a completely different world. I’ve left behind the shine of corporate suites and five-star living. I now work as a Consultant COO in a small, peaceful hospital tucked away in a quiet town, surrounded by fields and raw nature. I live in a simple room — far more humble than the ones I once frequented — yet strangely, I feel more grounded, more alive, and more me.
This isn’t a downgrade. This is evolution. I am not chasing titles anymore; I am chasing transformation.
My mission now is clear — to improve the revenue and performance of this hospital. But more than numbers, I want to reinvest success into people. I want to see every nurse, every staff member, every doctor feel the joy of growth. When they prosper, this place will thrive.
No regrets. No complaints. Just focus. Just purpose.
